Taking inspiration from the strong contrasts found in nature, this front redesign expresses a robust yet refined modernity. From the expanded radiator grille conveying high performance, to the confidence of the black high-gloss front bumper. 

LED Front Lightbar

The new Picanto’s wide, self-assured look now features a striking modern addition with an LED light-guide connecting the LED Lightbar connecting the LED headlights and Daytime Running Lights at either side*.

Cruise around with ease, in the city and beyond. With the 8” Touchscreen Navigation as standard, giving you all the essentials right where you need them. Like real-time updated navigation information, on an easy-to-see interface just in front of you. Plus over-the-air software updates that keep all systems up-to-date wirelessly, for added convenience 7. And voice recognition, so you don’t even need to take your hands off the steering wheel.

Kia Connect

Seamlessly connect your phone with your Picanto using the Kia Connect app and take advantage of all the additional convenience, peace of mind and practical support on offer. On-board services keeps you updated on real-time traffic data, parking and even weather. Off-board services are just as handy, including Last Mile Navigation and Remote Door Lock & Unlock, to name just a few of the many features.

Safe Exit Warning (SEW)

SEW senses any vehicles approaching from the rear while parked, sends you a warning alert, and keeps the child lock engaged – preventing rear passengers from getting out. When the vehicles have passed, the passengers will be free to exit safely. ​

Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist  (FCA)

FCA 1.5 gives you added reassurance and helps you to avoid any potential collisions with pedestrians, cyclists and other cars on the road – including when turning at a junction. If you are not applying the brakes hard enough to avoid a collision, your Picanto will do it automatically. The new Picanto is fitted with FCA 1.0 or 1.5, depending on the trimline. ​

Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist (RCCA)

Reverse out of a parking space or driveway simply and easily. With the RCCA system, you will get an alert that warns if cars or pedestrians are passing behind your vehicle. If there’s any risk of a collision, the system will automatically brake.​

Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA)

BCA warns you if there is a risk of collision with a vehicle in your blind-spot while changing lanes. When pulling out of a parallel-parking spot, if there is a risk of collision with a vehicle approaching from behind, it automatically assists with emergency braking.​

Intelligent Speed Limit Assist (ISLA)

ISLA gives you all the necessary information to help you stay within the speed limits. Using the camera on the windscreen, it reads speed limits and overtaking restrictions, and displays the information clearly on the navigation screen and cluster.​

Driver Attention Warning Plus 

DAW+ monitors the driver steering and acceleration pattern to detect if you’re losing concentration and alerts you with a warning sound and a coffee cup symbol in the cluster. A leading vehicle departure warning also notifies you when the vehicle ahead is driving away in traffic.​

Lane Following Assist

LFA is designed to help detect lane markings and/or vehicles on the road, and assists the steering to help keep your Picanto between lanes.
